Officer of the Quarter - December, 2006 PBSO Bob Cresswell - nominated by Terry Maguire Bob worked diligently on the PBSO’s “Shop With A Cop” and “Stuff A Truck” programs during the holiday season. Both of these programs assist needy families. Through Bob’s efforts, approximately $20,000 was raised for these worthwhile programs.
	Officer of the Month - January, 2007 School Board Police Officer Kevin McCabe, nominated by Bob Walton While on-duty at Spanish River High School in Boca Raton, Kevin heard what sounded like a auto accident, looked up and witnessed a vehicle plunge into a lake. Kevin ran to the scene where there were 2 females in the sinking car. Unable to communicate with the women, Kevin and 2 other men were able to free the women prior to the car becoming fully submerged. Without this quick response, two lives could have been lost.
	Officer of the Month - February, 2007 MCSO - David Newbold (absent), Mike Ferguson and & Donald Plant (absent), Nominated by Brian Bergen On January 18th, these three deputies were alerted by a civilian that a man had fallen on a concrete sidewalk in a park and was bleeding from the head. The deputies used a ventilator mask, ensured spinal mobilization and began mouth to mouth resuscitation and chest compressions. Due to their quick response and life-saving training, these deputies saved a life.
