STATEMENT PRESIDENT JOHN KAZANJIAN ON PHYSICAL CONDITIONS OF THE PALM BEACH COUNTY SHERIFF’S HEADQUARTERS

STATEMENT FROM PALM BEACH COUNTY PBA PRESIDENT JOHN
KAZANJIAN ON NEWS REPORTS CONCERNING THE PHYSICAL
CONDITIONS OF THE PALM BEACH COUNTY SHERIFF’S
HEADQUARTERS

WEST PALM BEACH- The following statement can be attributed to Palm Beach County PBA President
John Kazanjian:

“The safety and well-being of our members working at the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s headquarters is our number one priority. We are confident that Sheriff Bradshaw also shares our concerns for the well-being of his
employees, as he has demonstrated in the past. Instead of making superficial renovations at a cost of over $40 million, we are calling for the Palm Beach County Administrator to consider all available information and then possibly tearing down the current building and replacing it with a first-class facility that enables our members to work in the safest working conditions possible. That being said, it is reprehensible and irresponsible for anyone to politicize this issue for their own political gain. They should not try to win votes, using the safety of our members, to make political points. The bottom line is that politics and bureaucratic red tape should never interfere with the safety of our members. They deserve better.”
